I have a skin rash on my chest, its not causing any pain or itching but its bothering me??

It looks round, not perfectly round though, pink, and very dry sometimes it itches a little, about half the size of a dime and i had a new one that appeared on my upper right arm and one on my left arm, and the couple that are fading on chest looks like a fading bruise like a light brown color. when I first had it would pink and very dry almost scaly and several weeks pass and it starts fading and leaving a light brown scar. does anyone have any idea what it is?? should I be concern, as far as i know i dont have any health problems at all!!|||Sounds like something I have...Tinea versicolor is a fungus infection that commonly affects the skin of young people, especially the chest, back, and upper arms and legs. It doesn't usually affect the face, though. This fungus produces spots that are either lighter than surrounding skin or reddish-brown. There may be just a few spots or many. One way you can check is to buy an anti-fungal cream (like for athlete's foot) apply it sparingly on the spots and if you see them fade after 1-2 days, this is what it is. Unfortunately, there is no cure and they will reoccur throughout your life. Be on the lookout for them when they first crop up, grab your cream and be on the ready. Annoying and ugly, but not harmful.
