Has anyone you know ever had skin problems through smoking cannabis i.e rash, itch, fluid build up?

my skin is in a bad way at the moment...someone has suggested it could be through smoking resin....i have about 4 or 5 spliffs on a weekend....i intend giving it up anyhow to see what happens but id still be interested in your comments...thanks|||try to exfoliate and moisturise you skin

i dont think the resin has anything to do with it, i never had a skin problem ;-)|||Not to my knowledge.... If anything, just a temporary breakout caused by eating too much oily food due to an extreme case of the munchies....

Don't be a quitter.|||It could be that you're too wrecked at the end of the night to wash your face ;-)|||Mate, I've been tokin' for at least 10 years, it hasn't done me any harm what so ever, so have most of my mates, and I've never heard of it causing skin problems. This is something totally unconnected. It's totally up to you whether you keep smokin' or not, but I am 100% sure your skin problem has nothing to do with a few spliffs now and then!|||Beware! Yes! Some people are sensitive to different chemicals. I am allergic to milk, cigs smoke, antibiotics and other things. just because it does not affect one person does not mean it won't affect someone else. Take a allergy test at home. Do this: Stop smoking for at least 30 days and see how your skin changes. If there is no change, check with your doctor and find out what it is. Not all rashes are due to oily foods. My nephew's face breaks out and he gets nasty boils on his skin from smoking cigs. They go away when he stops smoking. Remember! Everyone is not the same! I hope this helps. Have the best day!|||No i doubt it, not just cos of smoking resin, but if you have swelling up/fluid retention i would go see a doctor cos that dont sound like normal anyway, and if you have itchy skin , and a rash, plus fliud retention it could be cos of some infection, sloppy liver/kidneys etc. It could be down to anything. If you are itching like mad, maybe try some piriton (if you can have it) and see if that helps, sounds like a reaction to something and the skin gets puffy if you are itching and scrathing, it gets inflammed etc. If no better by monday i would defo go and see doctor, and if it gets worse before then call NHS direct to see whats going off. 0845 46 47 is the number, they be able to advise you better.|||Dont be cheap and smoke resin. Its foul. Get skunk and do it properly if you are going to do it at all. I smoked it for 7 years, and depending on your personality traits and genetics it can cause scritzophrenia and demensia, etc. I stopped when i started getting extremely paranoid, but the lasting effects are 2 years of terrifying panic / anxiety attacks. I wouldnt tell anyone to give up as some people smoke all their lives and are fine, and i crave a doob often.|||Smoking resin and tobacco has toxins in them, and it could be your bodies way of saying it doesn't like it. The toxins have to go somewhere. Drink lots of water, boring I know, but the more you drink the better your skin will be. Try bottled water it tastes better than tap water (Buy a 6 pack of 2 litres at the supermarket every week and take one everywhere with you). Lots of fruit and veg, wash and moisturise (Sun factor 15) your face twice a day, and try not to put your fingers on your skin, your hands touch alot of surfaces, or wash your hands more! Saunas are good, but if you want something at home, try a facial sauna for about £5-£10. Face mask once a week. Exercise, fresh air. Keep at it for a few weeks to see the difference, but keep going to prevent future outbreaks. If you are thinking about the cost? How much do you spend on resin?! Change of lifestyle perhaps!! Good luck.|||my bf smokes dope and every time garunteed his face comes up in a rash so it prob is that
