Anyone know of a skin rash that only pops up when you get sick???

You can get a rash from having fever, called a "fever rash".

There are other less common illnesses like measles, scarlet fever, rubella, etc. If its bothersome take tylenol %26amp; benadryl.

RN|||Space Mumps.|||idk of any but your immune system is probably fighting off your sickness weakining it to allow this rash to flare up. i have terrible skin and i always get flareups when im sick or stressed|||strep infections are notorious for rash break outs

Should I be concerned? Skin rash question.?

This morning when I got my 3 and 1/2 month old up I noticed a bright red spot covering most of her right cheek. She sleeps on her belly and where her cheek was laying was wet like she spit up alot in the night. (she has reflux) Right now, 8 hours later it is still just as red =( Should I be concerned? It doesn't seem to sting her when I put water on her face...is there something else I should put on it? It looks like a burn.|||Sounds like a mild inflammation. It may be associated with teething or an ear infection but I wouldn't be concerned in the absence of other symptoms like pain, fever, lethargy, etc.

I wouldn't put anything on it as it isn't painful or itching. However zinc cream (diaper rash cream or calamine lotion) won't do any harm.

What is a foot skin rash with large water-filled blisters?

Ever since I returned from Viet Nam I regularly get a red, stinging, itching spots between my toes that finally manifest in large water-filled bulbuous blisters that still sting and itch. The blisters finally break and slowly heal over a week with the stinging and itching. It does not respond to normal Athlete's Foot meds and does not look like athletes foot I had experienced prior. The bubble like blisters are the most dominant characteristic. If I can put a name to it, hopefully I can find a specific med to put on it. Many thanks|||Where you in the military when you came back from Viet Nam? If so, go to your closest VA Medical Center and they will take care of you. If not, it's something you need to go to your doctor for, ASAP!|||It's eczema. Go to your doctor and get a prescription for cortisone cream. Clears it right up.|||Its not eczema both of my kids have that and that's not it u need to find a good doctor for that it sounds like just a bad case of athletes foot my dad was in Vietnam .....can i ask what socks u wear ? he can only wear 100% cotton ones since he got back hope this helps.

My dog has a skin rash around eyes with mucus. also hes allways biting and scraching what is it.?

my dog was like that not to long ago when she kept biting and scratching herself 24/7 i carried her to the vet and they said she had the manes.|||its most likely just an infection. just take him to the vet, and he should be perfectly fine. this happened to my dog not too long ago|||Dogs can have some very serious skin problems. Some are contagious to other animals, possibly humans.

No one here, not being able to see the dog, could offer a diagnosis or help. Please take to the vet for answers.

Ever had a BAD case of poison ivy?? Not comfortable at all. He is miserable. And can get a secondary infection from all the scratching and really need meds.

My daughter has bad skin rash. Doctors can't figure it out. Even done a biopsy.?

Little red bumps all over. Then scabs. Then white scars.|||Did the doctor mention folliculitis? I have that, and it does exactly what you describe....little bumps about the size of a small pimple, then they get a little larger and scab, then they scar white when they heal. I had to go to a dermatologist before they figured out what it was. Treated with a course of tetracycline antibiotics and occasionally a topical cream.

Luckily, if that's what it is, it's not contagious or life-threatening...just kinda annoying and ugly.|||It's proabably eczma or jut skin allergies. Use tea tree oil cream or prescripted creams form doctors. And it may be she's allergic to dustmites, in which case you can get one of those anti-dustmite bedsheets. She may also be allergic to seafoods, especially prawns, crabs, and lobsters, so maybe avoid those for a bit and see if it makes a difference. and don't let her scratch, because it makes it worse.|||I'd read up on parasite cleanses....I have heard of LOADS of people with rashes and a parasite cleanse cleans them up....

I had skin rash in my hand and in the bottom of foot what it is could be?

i star having that after i take a calcium supplement .|||Rashes affecting the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet are relatively uncommon. It's most likely to be a condition called hand, foot and mouth disease, which is a viral infection causing oral blisters/ulcers, red-edged blisters on hands and feet, and a mild fever. It should fade in about a week and doesn't require any treatment.
