Originally started on my side and then moved to the under arms and moving to my chest. Couple spots on leg. It looks like symptoms of ringworm, but not sure. Doesn't itch, is mostly red spots as big as pencil eraser, but also some spots like size of quarter that are rings and have scaley surface among the ring? Do not scab out though. Can anyone elaborate and give idea of what to buy to treat? Thx.|||Sounds like ringworm alright. Ringworm is a form of Tinea, a fungus that can invade your feet, crotch, body and scalp. You can buy OTC antifungals for it, but if it is really widespread you probably want to see your doctor for consultation.|||This could be Ring worm or Shingles. Ringworm is a misnomer, it's really a flora like athletes foot and, can be treated over the counter the same way. It sounds like you let it get out of hand. Itching and using your bare hands is spreading it.
If it's shingles you'll have to see your doctor.
