Angio Seal is a small device that is used to close the hole in an artery after it has been entered either for cardiac catheterization or for intervention on the arteries in the leg. It actually sits on the artery which is fairly deep in the patient.
You may be having a reaction to the dressing over the puncture site. If it's still a problem, try a little hydrocortisone cream.
