Dr. said small pimple bumps that turn into skin rash as ringworm, then exema, but no creams work, Im pregnant

itch like crazy and spread all over body. no puss or leaking. Tried, witch hazel, garlic, olivera, alchohol, powder, starch but nothing works. Turns into dark scabs on skin. What to do????|||Well I have had the same problem! I was told it was a ringworm/fungus thing first, then exema. Finally after a bunch of cultures, creams, and antibiotics it turned out to be a type of folliculitis (Pruritic Folliculitis). http://dermatology.about.com/cs/pregnanc...

It went away on its own after I had my daughter. I hope yours does too because I know how uncomfortable it can be! By the way, it didn't leave any marks or scars either which I was worried about. Good luck!|||Try eliminating all dairy for a while, and see if it clears up.|||Go to a dermatologist.|||pie and 2pts|||Try a naturopathic doctor, nothing they will give you will harm the baby.|||Try extra emollient night cream by Mary Kay. Both my brothers and my sister have different skin problems and it worked to sooth itching and reduce the appreance of rashes. I am not sure what you have but I would definately try it.|||It could be shingles. I would go see if that is it. They can give you a cream to help with the itching. If it is this, it will have to run it's course. I'd go check it out or see a different doctor.|||see if your allergic to anything, and stay away from it. also if they're pimples, try using proactive? and if they scab, have them heal up and try to lighten you skin.|||you should try hydrocortizone it stops the itch and the dark spot will go away i have the same problem. Also try not to eat stuff like ketchup oranges stuff with acid|||I would go to the drugstore and pick up some hydrocortisone. It should help with the itch. Also try to get those aveeno oatmeal bath packets.|||Well i had ringworm and i used something called Lamasil cream. It helped.|||some pple develope this syndrom during pragnancy. maybe it is bec your kidney and liver are not able to get rid of the extra' rubbish' produced.

you can try Naturopathy. see web site below.|||I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa. It is a condition of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses , that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there.

Here is a link :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidradeniti...

If this sounds like it might be you, READ it, PRINT it out, and TAKE it to your DOC.

Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing. Stress is a big inducer.

There is some support groups at MSN
