Took her to the docter and they don't quite know what it is. I have a dermitologist appointment next week...but maybe someone knows a natural remedy. (rash developed soon as the weather got warm)|||Most skin rashes, especially those in small ones, do best with simply sunlight and air. In a 2 year old, that's pretty easy, since you can strip them down the the diaper or less. If your's is still unpredictably leaky, then you may want to cover flooding with a cloth diaper. A bit of baking soda in cool water helps sooth the skin, as well as a handful of plain old oatmeal. If the rash is viral, they may never identify the culprit and it will go away as mysteriously as it appeared. As long as the baby is eating and drinking, and isn't running fever, you can pretty much relax. Try to keep the baby cool as possible, and naked as much as possible. That's about the best cure there is. Also, you will want to make sure all the clothing is well rinsed, and use a very mild baby detergeant for it all instead of the usual household washing powder or liquid. Sometimes it's not rinsed out of the clothing well enough, and as baby skin is pretty tender, when they heat up and sweat, it's enough to aggrivate things. Good luck, and hopefully it will clear quickly.|||You are better off leaving that to the professionals to determine.
However... some diaper ointment may help and probably wont harm her.
It has cod liver oil in it.
